| Summary, etc. | En el presente trabajo se revisa el rol del yodo en la alimentación infantil, se describen las fuentes vegetales y animales de este oligoelemento, así como el metabolismo del mismo y la sintomatología que su déficit o ausencia produce. Se describe la prevalencia de bocio en diversos lugares de nuestro país, especialmente en Aragón, y finalmente se hacen una serie de recomendaciones al objeto de evitar su carencia. |
