| Summary, etc. | A finales del siglo XX aparece un retorno hacia el verdadero origen de los cuidados, aunque sólo haya tenido lugar en algunos servicios tales como los que atienden a personas ancianas; cuando las enfermeras se enfrentan a dilemas relacionados con cuestiones fundamentales de la vida o la muerte, o ante la impotencia de algunos tratamientos (como el caso del Sida). Paralelamente los trabajos efectuados en esos últimos años permiten encontrar las raíces de los cuidados enfermeros y recuperar su sentido original. Los cuidados son universales y todos aparecen y se elaboran alrededor de los dos grandes momentos de la vida: el nacimiento y la muerte. |
