Revista de salud, discapacidad y terapéutica física -- 2003 (abr/jun), v. 25, n.2, p. 103-109Abstract: El objetivo principal del presente trabajo se centró en reconocer las dificultades funcionales producidas en la alimentación de un grupo de diez alumnos/as de un colegio de educación especial, gravemente afectados por diversas patologías neurológicas para posteriormente ofrecerles un tratamiento integral: postural, motriz, psicológico educativo,etc, sustentado en un enfoque interdisciplinar: médico, fisioterapéutico, logopédico, auxiliares educativos, tutores especializados en pedagogía terapéutica y familia, con la finalidad de mejorar la calidad del proceso de alimentación.Summary: The main reason of the present work is based on the exploration of the functional disabilities that happen at the feeding of a group of ten pupils that belong to a special educational school deeply affected by different neurological and chronics syndromes in order to offer them a complete treatment: postural, motor, educative, psychological, etc., sustained from the point of view of an interdepartamental action: medical, physiotherapy, audition and language, educative assistants, tutor specialized in therapeutical pedagogy and family, for the purpose of improving the quality of the feeding process.
