N2  - El presente artículo busca profundizar en la relación que hubo entre las Agrupaciones Locales de Protección Civil en España y el periodo de marzo-junio de 2020, que corresponde con el inicio de la pandemia COVID 19. El objetivo principal fue el de describir el impacto el impacto psicológico de la pandemia covid-19 en agrupaciones locales de voluntarios de Protección Civil, así como de objetivar sus experiencias y cuantificar sus niveles de estrés. Se llevó a cabo un estudio mixto por modelo de triangulación compuesto por una encuesta online con escalas validadas y una serie de entrevistas semiestructuradas dirigidas a miembros de Protección Civil de toda España. Los resultados mostraron mayores niveles de estrés percibido durante el periodo de pandemia y de Ansiedad Estado. Complementar dichos resultados con las experiencias contadas de los voluntarios en las entrevistas, ha
reflejado de manera más específica tanto las situaciones de estrés y las adversidades afrontadas durante este periodo como los apoyos y el impacto positivo que recibieron. También se estableció un perfil sociodemográfico y se especificaron las labores realizadas por las Agrupaciones con el fin de describir el impacto de las mismas en su comunidad. Se concluyó que el voluntariado de Protección expuso a sus miembros a diversos factores de estrés y ansiedad durante la pandemia. No obstante, otros factores como la difusión de su labor y su motivación personal influyeron en la actitud para con el voluntariado de manera positiva; This article seeks to explore the relationship between the Local Civil Protection Groups in Spain and the period March-June 2020 corresponding to the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic. The main objective was to describe the psychological impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on local Civil Protection volunteer groups as well as to externalize their experiences and quantify their stress levels. A mixed triangulation model study was carried out, consisting of an online survey with validated scales anda series of semi-structured interviews with Civil Protection members from all over Spain. The results show higher levels of perceived stress during the pandemic period and State Anxiety. This was complemented by the volunteers’ experiences in the interviews, which reflected both the stressful situations and adversities faced during this period, as well as the support and positive impact they received. A sociodemographic profile was also established and the work carried out by the groups was specified in order to describe their impact on their community. It was concluded that Civil Protection volunteering exposed its members to various stress and anxiety 
factors during the pandemic, however other factors such as the dissemination of their work and their personal motivation influenced the attitude towards volunteering in a positive way
