La bibliometría nace para dar respuesta, suponiendo el método de medición de la producción científica. De esta manera, conjugando bibliometrÍa con investigación enfermera en Salud Mental, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal describir la producción científica enfermera en el ámbito de la Salud Mental en las revistas españolas de mayor impacto en España durante los últimos 10 años.
MATERIAL Y MÉTODO: Estudio bibliométrico descriptivo y retrospectivo. La investigación se ha llevado a cabo hasta el 12 de Abril del 2014 revisando los índices de cada una de las revistas incluidas. Se seleccionaron todas aquellas revistas españolas de enfermería de ámbito general desde el año 2004; teniendo en cuenta el Índice de Impacto Index “RIC” mayor de 0,2188. En el estudio han sido incluidas nueve revistas de las cuales han sido empleados 160 artículos.
RESULTADOS: El crecimiento de las publicaciones ha sido exponencial, siendo duplicadas casi al 50% en los últimos diez años, situando a Cataluña como principal comunidad productora de este tipo de publicaciones. El análisis de los resultados se ha llevado a cabo mediante una estadística descriptiva básica.
Summary: INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES: A set of measures for information has become essential due to the massive growth of scientific studies over the past decades.
Bibliometry was born to give an answer to this problem, and therefore turning into the main measurement method from the scientific production perspective.
Thus, the main goal of this project is to describe nursing scientific production in the most relevant Spanish nursing magazines in the field of mental health over the past ten years. Mixing bibliometry and mental health nursing investigation.
METHOD AND MATERIAL: Bibliometric, descriptive and retrospective study. Investigation was carried out until 12th of April, 2014. It went through the indexes of every magazine included.
The selection, which included all Spanish nursing magazines whose RIC index was greater than 0, 2188, turned out to be made of 160 articles from nine different magazines.
CONCLUSION: There has been exponential growth in the number of publications, almost doubling this number ten years ago. Cataluña has become its biggest source.
This analysis has been done using Microsoft Excel and descriptive statistics.
