Summary: Objectives: To obtain objective data using electrotherapy, more specifically de I/T curve, which demonstrate that stretching before practice sports is not beneficial. Material and method: 18 subjects were randomly divided into two groups. In the first group, the experimental one, it was made an I / T curve of the femoral biceps continued by stretching and a maximum resistance of the contraction of the hamstring, ending up again with an I/T curve in the same point. To the second group, the control one, the exam was made in the same way omitting the stretching. Results; The pre-post exercise difference of 4 sections was analyzed in 18 subjects, 7 women (38.9%) and 11 men (61.1%). No significant data were obtained between experimental group and control group (p = 0.05) in none of the sections. Conclusion; The sample should be significantly increased to be able to observe conclusive data.Item type | Current library | Collection | Call number | Copy number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
