Fisioterapia en la hipogalatia. Revisión bibliográfica / Carmen Lillo de la Quintana; tutor, Luis Palomeque Del Cerro [Trabajo Fin de Grado]

MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS: La búsqueda se realizó entre Octubre de 2015 y Enero de 2016 en las siguientes bases de datos: PubMed, Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), BRAIN y The Cochrane Library. Tras analizarlos se incluyeron un total de 6 artículos a los que se les aplicó la escala de validación metodológica CASPe.
RESULTADOS: Tras analizar los estudios encontramos que existe evidencia científica en el tratamiento de la hipogalactia mediante la acupuntura, el ultrasonido y la acupresión.
DISCUSIÓN: Los resultados muestran que la mayoría de estudios se centran en el tratamiento de manera individual de algún tipo de técnica y no tienen en cuenta los efectos secundarios de la patología. Se hace difícil seleccionar el método de elección puesto que ningún estudio muestra unos resultados que destaquen con respecto al resto.
CONCLUSIONES: La fisioterapia es usada con poca frecuencia en la práctica clínica para tratar esta patología, pero la evidencia científica sugiere que es una alternativa eficaz. Se han analizado diversas técnicas de tratamiento obteniendo resultados beneficiosos. Sería conveniente comparar unos tratamientos con otros para determinar cuál es el más apropiado, por lo tanto son necesarios más estudios que se basen en la aplicación de estas terapias para obtener unos mejores resultados en el tratamiento y poder así evidenciar los resultados a favor o en contra de su uso.
Abstract: PURPOSE: Make a bibliographic review to analyze scientific literatura evidence on the treatment of hypogalactia and the causes of disease by physiotherapy.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: The search was carried out between October 2015 and January 2016 in the following data bases: PubMed, Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), BRAIN and The Cochrane Library. After analyzing them, 6 articles were validated with CASP escale and included.
RESULTS: After analyzing the studies, we found scientific evidence in treatment by acupunture, ultrasound and acupressure.
DISCUSSION: The results show that most studies focus on individual treatment of any kind of technical and do not take into account the adverse effects of the disease. It becomes difficult to select the method of choice since no study shows results that stand out from the rest.
CONCLUSIONS: The physiotherapy is often used in clinical practice to treat this disease, but the evidence suggests that it is an effective alternative. We analyzed various treatment techniques obtaining beneficial results. It would be useful to compare with other forms of treatment to deremine wich is most appropiate, therefore more studies are based on the application of these therapies to obtain better results in thetreatment and be able to show theresults in favor and against are requireduse. The multimodal treatment program is most effective in whiplash treatment, there fore it will be necessary more studies based on the application of electrotherapy in an isolation way and show the results for or against its use are needed.
