Introducción: El trabajo pretende conocer qué estrategias intensivas y repetitivas de entrenamiento locomotor tienen mejores resultados y en qué tipo de pacientes.<br/>Material y Método: Revisión de los estudios publicados en los últimos cinco años en las bases de datos de PEDro, Pubmed Central y Cochrane, usando los descriptores, spinal cord injury, gait, training y physical therapy. Se obtuvieron 30 estudios, tras el análisis y aplicación de criterios de inclusión y exclusión sobre los 143 iniciales.<br/>Resultados: El entrenamiento locomotor intensivo mejora muchas medidas de resultado funcionales de manera significativa en lesionados medulares incompletos.<br/>Conclusiones: Parece demostrado que el entrenamiento locomotor mejora la deambulación funcional en lesiones medulares incompletas y subagudas, queda por detreminar qué estrategias obtienen los mejores resultados.<br/> |

Introduction: Study aims to identify locomotor training strategies have better outcomes and in which patients.<br/>Material and method: Review of studies published in the last five years in the databases of PEDro, Pubmed Central y Cochrane, using descriptors, spinal cord injury, gait, training and physical therapy. 30 studies were obtained, after the analysis and application of inclusion and exclusion criteria on the initial 143.<br/>Results: Intensive locomotor training improves many functional outcomes significantly in incomplete spinal cord injuries.<br/>Conclusions: Looks demonstrated that locomotor training improves functional ambulation and subacute incomplete spinal cord injury, remains to be determined which strategies perform best.<br/> |
