La comunicación es un aspecto fundamental en nuestras vidas ya que no vivimos de forma aislada sino que establecemos relaciones con el mundo externo y con otros hombres. Las relaciones entre los hombres, o lo que es lo mismo las relaciones interpersonales, son necesarias para la sociedad puesto que todo tipo de relaciones están basadas o necesitan de ellas.<br/>El estudio tuvo como objetivos: evaluar la comunicación oral entre los sujetos del estudio y posteriormente lograr una comunicación efectiva entre las enfermeras para poder prestar mejores cuidados al paciente, centro de nuestro trabajo.<br/>El análisis de los datos recogidos en 33 enfermeras del Servicio de Cardiología nos mostró los siguientes resultados: todos los sujetos creían que era importante una comunicación efectiva, pero sólo el 33% habían recibido formación en este tema. Al 94% les hubiera gustado tener más conocimientos sobre comunicación interpersonal. El 82% habían sido testigos de errores en la ejecución de su trabajo por una incorrecta comunicación. En el 55% de los casos el error tuvo consecuencias, siendo el paciente el afectado en todos los casos. El 12% fueron calificados como malos oyentes y, por último, el 39% tuvieron una mala comprensión de contenidos verbales.<br/>Los datos obtenidos muestran que un alto porcentaje de sujetos de este estudio presenta deficiencias para ser buenos comunicadores, además de demandar formación en comunicación interpersonal. Por último, también se demuestra que una comunicación incorrecta tiene repercusiones negativas en el paciente. |

Communication is a fundamental aspect in our lives since we do not live isolated, but we establish relations with the external world and with other men and women. Relations between human beigns, or what is the same interpersonal relations, are necessary for the society since all the relations are based or need from them.<br/>The study took as targets: to evalue the oral communication between the subjects of the study and later, to achieve an effective communication between nurses, in order to improve the care of patients, real centre of our work.<br/>The analysis of the data gathered from 33 nurses who work at the Cardiology Service showed us the following results: all the subjects believed that an this topic. 94% would have liked having more knowledge on interpersonal communication. 82% had been witnesses of errors in the execution of the work for an incorrect communication, in 55% of the cases the error had consequences, being the patient affected in all the cases. 24% of the subjects presented inadequate verbal communication. 12% was qualified as bad listeners and, finally, 39% had a bad comprehension of verbal contents.<br/>The obtained information shows that a high percentage of subjects of this study presents shortcomings to be good communicators, in addition to demanding training about interpersonal communication. And also it is demonstrated that an incorrect communication has negative repercussions on patients |
