• Introducción: La población con alto riesgo cardiovascular tiene escaso conocimiento sobre estas enfermedades y de cómo actuar. • Objetivos: Proporcionar formación sobre enfermedades cardiovasculares (ECV) en un grupo de riesgo. Comprobar si la intervención proporciona conocimientos y si ello depende del perfil del participante. • Metodología: Estudio de intervención transversal. Población: amas de casa. Muestra: amas de casa de la Asociación de Amas de casa de Albacete. Intervención educativa en Centros Socioculturales de barrio. Médico, enfermeras, cocinera y psicólogo, impartieron conocimientos sobre las ECV y hábitos saludables. Al inicio se registra el perfil cardiovascular de los participantes y a los tres meses se realiza un cuestionario sobre conocimientos. Análisis: descriptivo y comparativo bivariante. Significación: p<0.05 • Resultados: Asistieron 194 mujeres cuyo perfil fue: mayor de 50 años (93%), laboralmente inactiva (96%), no fumadora (98%), obesa (58%), hipertensa (56%), sedentaria (56%), hipercolesterolémica (45%) y con síntomas de depresión (41%). ECV previa: 6%. Antes de la intervención refieren conocer la palabra ictus el 30% e infarto el 86%.Tras la intervención, el 75% reconocen síntomas infarto de miocardio y el 80% saben cómo actuar. El 70% conoce el significado de ictus, reconoce sus síntomas y el 79% saben cómo actuar. El 78% reconocen todos los factores de riesgo como causas de ECV. El 100% puntúa la intervención por encima de 7. El 85% considera muy útil y recomendaría la asistencia. No se encontró relación entre perfil del participante y adquisición de conocimientos. |

• Introduction: the high-risk cardiovascular population has little knowledge about these diseases and how to act. • Objectives: Provide training on cardiovascular disease (CVD) in a risk group. Check if the intervention provides knowledge and if this depends on the profile of the participant. • Methodology: Cross-cutting intervention study. Population: love House. Sample: Housewives of the Association of housewives of Albacete. Educational intervention in sociocultural centres of neighborhood. Nurses, Cook, Doctor and Psychologist, imparted knowledge of CVD and healthy habits. At the beginning is recorded the cardiovascular profile of participants and three months carried out a questionnaire about knowledge. Analysis: descriptive and comparative bivariate. Significance: p <0.05. <br/>• Results: Attended 194 women whose profile was: more than 50 years (93%), occupationally inactive (96%), non-smoker (98%), overweight (58%), hypertensive (56%), sedentary (56%), hypercholesterolemic (45%) and with symptoms of depression (41%). Prior CVD: 6%. Before the intervention concerned know the word ictus 30% and infarction 86%.After the intervention, 75% recognize symptoms of myocardial infarction and 80% know how to act. 70 Per cent know the meaning of ictus, recognize its symptoms, and 79% know how to act. 78% Recognize all risk factors as causes of CVD. The 100% rate intervention above 7. 85% Considered very useful and would recommend the assistance. No relationship was found between the participant profile and acquisition of knowledge. |
