Este trabajo describe el caso clínico de una paciente de 28 años, casada y con una hija.<br/>Acude al hospital tras sufrir un episodio de palpitaciones, mareo, sudoración, visión borrosa y opresión torácica, que se desencadena mientras realizaba su actividad laboral.<br/>A su ingreso, se le diagnostica una taquicardia bidireccional catecolaminérgica (enfermedad hereditaria que conlleva un alto riesgo de muerte súbita.)<br/>C. G. G. ha sido hasta este momento una persona sana, con una vida activa, que desde el momento del ingreso debe asumir un diagnostico, que la enfrenta con muchos miedos:<br/>El miedo a la muerte y a las consecuencias que la enfermedad tendrá sobre su familia.<br/>El miedo a la alteración de su imagen corporal y a los posibles cambios en su vida de pareja, por la inserción de un DAI .También debe afrontar las dificultades que la evolución de la enfermedad pueda tener en su reinserción laboral.<br/>Hecha una valoración inicial, abordamos la situación elaborando nuestro plan de cuidados, con diagnósticos NANDA. Con el que pretendemos, controlar sus miedos y mejorar el afrontamiento de la enfermedad y por consiguiente su evolución |

This paper describes the case of a 28-year-old patient, who is married with one daughter.<br/>She goes to the hospital after suffering an episode of palpitations, dizziness, perspiration, blurred vision and thoracic tightness, which are unleashed while she is working.<br/>On her admission she is diagnosed with catecholaminergic bi-directional tachycardia (hereditary disease which implies a high risk of sudden death.)<br/>C.G. G. has been until now a healthy person with an active lifestyle, who from the time of admission has to assume a diagnosis that confronts many fears:<br/>The fear of death and the consequences that the disease will have on her family.<br/>The fear of a body image disturbance and possible changes in their life together because of the insertion of a ICD. In addition, she must face the difficulties that the evolution of the disease may have on her return to work.<br/>After an initial assessment, we deal with the situation devising our plan of treatment with NANDA diagnoses, thanks to which, we expect to control their fears and improve the coping with the disease and therefore its evolution.<br/>Keywords: bidirectional tachycardia, cardiac sudden death, nursing care, polymorphic catecholergic ventricular tachycardia, relaxation therapy, tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia. |
