La ablación con radiofrecuencia del sustrato arrítmico de las taquicardias ventriculares representa uno de los mayores desafíos de la electrofisiología intervencionista. Suelen ser procedimientos de larga duración y no exentos de riesgo de complicaciones graves, en los que enfermería juega un papel muy activo.<br/>La elaboración de un plan de cuidados estandarizado ayuda a que el personal de enfermería de una Unidad de Electrofisiología siga unas mismas directrices, en cuanto a la atención al paciente y en el registro de la actividad realizada.<br/>Presentamos un caso clínico, donde pretendemos poner en evidencia las principales intervenciones enfermeras en la ablación de sustrato arrítmico, en un paciente con Tetralogía de Fallot corregida y que presenta taquicardias ventriculares de difícil control. |

Radiofrequency ablation of the arrhythmia substrate of ventricular tachyarrhythmia is one of the major challenges of interventional electrophysiology. Procedures are often long and involve risk of serious complications, in which nurses play an active role. The development of a standardized care plan helps the nursing staff of an Electrophysiology Unit to follow the same guidelines in terms of patient care and record the activity.<br/>We report a case, where we aim to evidence the main nursing interventions in the ablation of the arrhythmogenic substrate of a patient with corrected Tetralogy of Fallot and a ventricular tachycardia with difficult control. |
