• Introducción: El reajuste de las vidas sexuales de las personas con enfermedad cardiovascular supone todo un desafío, siendo además el ámbito que más varía en sus vidas y el tema sobre el que menos información se recibe a nivel hospitalario.<br/>• Objetivo: Analizar las intervenciones de enfermería en el patrón sexualidad del paciente cardiológico hospitalizado.<br/>• Método: Estudio observacional, descriptivo y retrospectivo. Población: Pacientes hospitalizados en el Servicio de Cardiología del Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocío de Sevilla entre enero de 2009 y diciembre de 2011.<br/>Criterios de inclusión: Hombres y mujeres entre 25 y 75 años de edad, hospitalizados durante un periodo de al menos 3 días consecutivos y diagnosticados de infarto agudo de miocardio e insuficiencia cardiaca congestiva.<br/>• Resultados: Analizadas 183 historias clínicas validadas según los criterios de inclusión descritos. El 95% (n=174) presentaba registro de valoración inicial de enfermería por patrones funcionales de salud de Marjory Gordon. El patrón sexualidad valorado en un 43,7%. Los diagnósticos de enfermería relacionados, según Taxonomía NANDA, “Disfunción Sexual” (00059) y “Patrón Sexual Inefectivo” (00065) en ninguna de las historias revisadas (N=183), ni aún en las que contemplan un plan de cuidados (n=130), se hace mención a los mismos. El 61,2% (n=112) de la muestra disponía de un informe de continuidad de cuidados. Sólo en 2 casos (1,1%) se hacía referencia al patrón sexualidad.<br/>• Conclusiones: El patrón sexualidad del paciente cardiológico hospitalizado es poco tratado en la práctica clínica de Enfermería. |

• Introduction: The adjustment of the sex lives of people with cardiovascular disease is a challenge, and is the<br/>field that varies the most in their lives and the subject about which less information is received at the hospital level.<br/>• Objective: To analyze nursing interventions in the sexuality pattern of the cardiac hospitalized patients.<br/>• Methods: An observational, descriptive, retrospective study. Population: Hospitalized patients in Cardiology Unit<br/>between 2009 and 2011. Inclusion criteria: Men and women. At least 3 consecutive days hospitalization, diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and congestive heart failure, aged between 25 and 75 years old.<br/>• Results: it was analyzed 183 patient’s charts that were validated as describes in inclusion criteria. The 95% (n = 174) had registration nursing initial assessment by functional health patterns. The sexuality pattern was valued by 43.7%. Sexual Dysfunction (00,059) and Ineffective Sexuality Patterns (00,065) were not valued (N = 183), nor even in those which had a plan of care, (n = 130). The 61.2% (n = 112) of the sample had a continuity of cares report. Only 2 cases (1.1%) talked about the sexuality pattern.<br/>• Conclusions: The sexuality pattern of the cardiac hospitalized patients is little discussed in the nursing clinical practice |
