En este artículo se presenta un programa para la deshabituación tabáquica dirigido a las gestantes fumadoras y sus parejas, pertenecientes a una zona básica de salud. El objetivo es que tanto la mujer embarazada como su pareja abandonen el hábito tabáquico, y para ello se propone<br/>un programa de educación para la salud que engloba tres fases: la de preparación para el cese, la del cese y la de consolidación del cese.<br/>El programa se estructura en cinco sesiones de periodicidad semanal y de una hora de duración cada una. El lugar para desarrollarlas es la sala de preparación maternal del centro de salud donde se realiza el estudio, situado en la zona centro de Oviedo. La población atendida es de nivel sociocultural medio-alto.<br/>El programa se iniciará con la formación de un grupo de como mínimo 7-8 gestantes y sus parejas, y el grupo total estará formado por unas 15 personas (grupo cerrado).<br/>Una vez finalizadas las cinco sesiones, se evaluarán la cobertura del programa y sus resultados. Todos los participantes responderán un cuestionario sobre los resultados obtenidos y el grado de satisfacción. |

The present protocol is targeted to all pregnant smokers and their partners in our health area. Our aim is smoking cessation in as many couples as possible by means of a health education program encompassing three separate stages: preparation, cessation and consolidation.<br/>A weekly session will be arranged, with a total of 5 different sessions of one-hour duration taking place at the educational facilities in our health centre, placed in Oviedo’s downtown area. According to the location, the reference population has a middle-high socio-educational level.<br/>The program will begin by enrolling a starting group of 7-8 pregnant smokers and their respective partners, accounting 14-16 people in total.<br/>This will be a closed group, allowing for recruitment of members to form new groups according to demand.<br/>At the end of each session every participant will fill in a questionnaire to evaluate the program. |
