INTRODUCCIÓN: Las lesiones musculares constituyen un importante factor socioeconómico en nuestra sociedad. Más concretamente, los isquiotibiales son los músculos más comúnmente afectados, especialmente el bíceps femoral. Numerosos autores han estudiado la efectividad de diferentes tratamientos conservadores en este tipo de lesiones, pero, actualmente, no hay evidencias sobre el tratamiento invasivo. <br/><br/>OBJETIVOS: Se plantea comparar un protocolo de tratamiento conservador con un protocolo de tratamiento invasivo, para poder observar qué protocolo es más efectivo en la lesión del bíceps femoral distal grado II.<br/><br/>MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS: Se realizará un ensayo clínico aleatorizado, controlado y cegado, con un grupo control o conservador y un grupo experimental o invasivo. El equipo investigador estará formado por cuatro fisioterapeutas y un estadístico.<br/> |

INTRODUCTION: Muscle injuries are an important socioeconomic factor in our society. More specifically, the hamstrings are the muscles most commonly affected, especially the femoral biceps. Numerous authors have studied the effectiveness of different conservative treatments in this type of injuries, but, currently, there is no evidence of invasive treatment.<br/><br/>OBJECTIVES: We set out to compare a conservative treatment protocol with an invasive treatment protocol, in order to observe which protocol is most effective in the injury of the distal grade II femoral biceps.<br/><br/>MATERIAL AND METHODS: A randomized, controlled and blinded clinical trial will be conducted with a control or conservative group and an experimental or invasive group. The research team will consist of four physiotherapists and a statistician.<br/> |
