N2  - The aim of this study is to analyze the psychosocial differences that may appear in hemodialysis patients as a function of time, for which we have divided our unit into two groups:
1. Patients who have been on a hemodialysis program for more than two years.
2. Patients who have been less than two years.
The study was carried out in the Hemodialysis Unit of the Vistahermosa Clinic (Alicante). 39 patients have participated voluntarily, all of them in a hemodialysis program.
After the analysis of the results, no significant differences were observed in the quality of life indicators, except in that of Adaptation to Treatment, which is very significant, for which reason it has been analyzed item by item.
In conclusion, it can be observed that in general, patients become more intransigent with regard to the intercurrences of the treatment as time passes
