N2  - Professional ethics is an interesting subject to address, especially in professions such as nursing, in which dilemmas often arise on a daily basis that force decisions to be made that compromise conscience. Many professionals remember, with some uneasiness, a case in which they were faced with a certain ethical problem, and they had to decide on an option that, perhaps, was not sufficiently clear. Ethical problems arise in daily practice, at all levels (students, nurses, supervisors) and in all functions (assistance, teaching and research). And we must not reduce its scope to classic issues, such as abortion or euthanasia. This work shows that, on the contrary, this field is practically confused with that of the profession
