N2  - From an anthropological and sociological point of view, the authors address the cultural-ideological identification between the concepts of woman and mother. After taking a brief tour analyzing the perception of these concepts in different peoples and cultures, we move on to the concrete study of the experience of In Vitro Fertilization by a group of women whose case has been studied exhaustively.
This is, in short, a current article, interesting for all those who are concerned about the conceptions in force at the moment about such issues of our time as the experience of femininity or motherhood
