N2  - Hepatitis B has been considered an occupational disease for health personnel since August 25, 1978. Vaccination is the main preventive measure, but currently its administration is restricted to certain population groups. This article exposes who are these people who are candidates for vaccination, the types of existing vaccines and the ways to get them. Finally, it ends with an analysis of its efficacy and a brief exposition of the hepatitis B vaccination campaign that is being carried out in the Company Medical Service of the Hospital Clínico y Provincial de Barcelona
