N2  - This article reflects the author's practical experience with a group of patients who had undergone cholecystectomy. Given the absence of dietary education applied to these patients, a study was proposed that assesses the convenience of carrying out this education. The results are presented below, deducing from all the research that practicing dietary education is very effective, since it reduces postoperative symptoms, and that the Nursing professional is the most appropriate to carry it out
