N2  - In this issue we begin the presentation of the first of three articles that, as indicated in its title, try to analyze nursing work within the field of primary care.
For this, among other things, the evolution of the nursing role within the PHC model since 1984 is reviewed, distributing the contents to be discussed within these articles in the following major thematic sections: What and how it was done; From said to fact or, what has resulted?; What can we do to better assume our responsibilities? In this first article the authors deal with what and how it was done. It only remains to note that the scope of knowledge of these works refers largely to the Andalusian autonomous community, analyzing the legislation of this community
