N2  - The study presented this month assesses a simple and effective solution for the treatment of vascular lesions in the lower extremities. It was carried out by applying moist dressings impregnated with collagenase ointment in fourteen patients who presented fifteen lesions: eleven with some type of ulcer of venous origin and four with amputation wounds in the lower limb. It has been shown that the treatment of these lesions with enzymes and the presence of moisture causes an acceleration in cleaning, stimulates granulation, preparing the bottom of the wound in an ideal way for the application of grafts and reports benefits for the formation of epithelial tissue. shortening the healing time, with a good tolerance and absence of side effects
