TY - SER TI - Test de Denver: aplicación en consulta de enfermería SN - 0210-5020 N1 - Este artículo se encuentra disponible en su edición impresa; Bibliografía: p. 19 N2 - A prospective study is designed by performing the Denver-Revised Test on all children who have attended the nursing consultation within the well-child care subprogram, aged between 7 months and 6 years, during 1991. The objective was to find out the psychomotor development of each child and follow their evolution periodically, as well as trying to standardize the data in relation to the population. 215 tests have been carried out, 194 (90.23%) have been normal and 21 (9.76%) altered. By sex: males 115 (53.48%), normal 101 (87.82%) and altered 14 (12.17%); females 100 (46.51%), normal 93 (93.00%) and altered 7 (7.00%). In 18 children one area is affected, in three two areas are affected. The frequency of alteration in each area has been: Personal-Social 6 (2.79%), Language 12 (5.58%), Fine Motor 1 (0.46%), Gross Motor 3 (1.39%), Other 2 (0 .93%). We conclude that the Denver Test is a useful instrument as a screening method to detect alterations in the areas it studies, that due to its ease of use it is suitable in primary care, and should be routinely integrated into the assessments to be made by the nurse in the hospital. healthy child care subprogram, helping him to structure the necessary care (early stimulation, speech therapy, etc...) in the aspects he observes to be deficient ER -
