N2  - The authors present their experience in the application of isolates to prevent certain infections in the hospital environment. The types of isolates used in the Infection Service of the Hospital Clínic i Provincial de Barcelona, ​​which were prepared by consensus between nurses, doctors and the hospital hygienist, are described.
