N2  - Through a questionnaire and from a sample, the training needs in the field of oral hygiene presented by middle school students of E.G.B. of the municipality of Pravia (Asturias). It is concluded that the level of knowledge is adequate, detecting, however, important training needs in relation to the technique of dental brushing, as well as in certain aspects related to etiology and prevention. A coordinated intervention with the teaching staff of educational centers is proposed in order to introduce this matter into the school curriculum
