N2  - After briefly reviewing the progress made by the public health system in the last twenty years, the author introduces us to the idea of ​​how to provide better information on health, health and health services, contributes to making the population more responsible for their own actions, even assuming that each user is a world, with their own experience of health and disease. As a simple and accessible way of providing information, the example of telephone assistance to the user implanted in England is analyzed, ideal for promoting self-care of the population and offering adequate responses to their care demands. It is concluded that soon in Spain we will also have to incorporate new information technologies into the daily life of our health system as a way to make it more accessible and modern, to bring it closer to the population
