| Summary, etc. | - Introducción y objetivos: Se presenta el estudio clínico de un caso de neuropatía periférica idiopática asociada a una ingente pérdida de peso. El cual recibió tratamiento neurodinámico, mostrando buena respuesta terapéutica. <br/>Se expone el caso con dicho tratamiento, para analizarlo de forma comparativa con estudios previos relacionados con el mismo.<br/>- Material y método: Se ha realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica de estudios publicados en los últimos 10 años. Las bases de datos utilizadas han sido MEDLINE, PEDro y SciELO. Todos los estudios seleccionados están vinculados con el caso clínico.<br/>Además se midieron las variables sintomáticas mediante pruebas de valoración fisioterápica.<br/>- Resultados: Por una parte se consideran los resultados obtenidos en los ensayos clínicos y por otra, aquellos relativos al caso, para finalmente contrastarlos y dilucidar sus semejanzas tanto en el tratamiento como en la evolución.<br/>- Conclusión: A pesar de no corroborar la causa de la patología, se entiende que la pérdida de peso pudo ser el factor desencadenante de la misma. Dando con ello importancia a la realización de dietas controladas por profesionales, así como a la relevancia que tiene la neurodinámica para solventar los trastornos nerviosos; viéndose reforzada con otras técnicas como la terapia de espejo.<br/> |

| Summary, etc. | - Introduction and objectives: To present a clinical case of a idiopathic perpheral neuropathy case associated to a massive weight loss. Which recived neurodynamic treatment, showing a good therapeutic response.<br/>The case is exposed with said treatment, for a comparative analysis with previous related studies.<br/>- Material and method: There has been a literature search of studies published in the last 10 years. The databases used were MEDLINE, PEDro and SciELO. All selected studies are linked to the clinical case.<br/>Moreover symptomatic variables were measured by physiotherapy assessment tests.<br/>- Results: On the one hand the results obtained in clinical trials and on the other are considered, those relating to the case. And contrast them to finally clarify their similarities in both the treatment and evolution.<br/>- Conclusion: Although not confirm the cause of the pathology, it is understood that weight loss it could be the trigger factor of it. Thereby giving importance to achieving controlled diets by professionals, as well as the relevance of neurodynamics to solve nervous disorders; looking reinforced with other techniques such as mirror therapy.<br/> |
