Introducción:<br/>Conforme avanza la tecnología, surgen nuevas herramientas que mejoran el tratamiento de las heridas y que generan beneficios en la calidad de vida a los pacientes. La terapia de presión negativa forma parte de una de las técnicas de curación avanzada más novedosas del mercado. Sin embargo, para su correcta utilización se necesita personal cualificado y capacitado para ello.<br/>El objetivo principal de este trabajo es medir el impacto de una formación educativa en los alumnos de tercero y cuarto de enfermería de la Facultad Salus Infirmorum de Madrid.<br/>Metodología:<br/>Se ha realizado un estudio cuantitativo cuasiexperimental (sin grupo control) a partir de un cuestionario ad hoc como herramienta de recogida de datos, con diseño “pretest -post test”, en el que se ha realizado una intervención educativa sobre los alumnos de tercero y cuarto de Enfermería de la Facultad Salus Infirmorum de Madrid, dentro del curso académico 2023-2024.<br/>Resultados:<br/>La formación educativa tuvo un impacto positivo en los alumnos de tercero y cuarto de enfermería, aumentando el grado de conocimiento de todos ellos sobre la terapia de presión negativa como método de cura avanzada. La mitad de los estudiantes entrevistados ya tenían conocimientos previos sobre la terapia, los cuales fueron adquiridos durante sus prácticas clínicas. Las variables sociodemográficas recogidas no influyeron en el nivel de conocimiento previo de los participantes.<br/>Conclusiones:<br/>Los resultados de esta investigación demuestran que la intervención educativa sobre la terapia de presión negativa puede constituir una herramienta positiva para aumentar el conocimiento de los estudiantes de la Facultad Salus Infirmorum de Madrid. |

Introduction<br/>As technology advances, new tolos emerge that improve wound treatment and generate benefits un patients´ quality of life. Negative pressure therapy is one of the most innovate advanced healding techniques on the market. However, its proper utilization requires qualified and trained personnel. The main objetive of this work is to measure the impacto f an educational training oh third and fourth-year nursing students at the Salus Infirmorum Faculty in Madrid.<br/>Objectives<br/>The main objective is to measure the impact of an educational training program on third and fourth-year nursing students at the Salus Infirmorum Faculty in Madrid.<br/>Methodology<br/>A quasi-experimental quantitative study (without a control group) was conducted using an ad hoc questionnaire as the data colletion tool, with a “pre-test post-test” design.<br/>An educational intervention was carried out on third and fouth-year Nursing students at the Salus Infirmorum Faculty in Madrid, durind the academic year 2023-2024.<br/>Results<br/>The educational training had a positive impacto n third and fourth-year nursing students, increasing the leve lof knowledge of al lof them about negative pressure therapy as an advanced healing method. Half of the interviewed students already had previus knowledge about the therapy, wich was acquired during their clinical practices.<br/>The sociodemographic variables collected did not influence the participants prior knowledge level.<br/>Conclusion<br/>The results os this study demonstrate that the educational intervention on negative pressure therapy can be a positive tool for increasing the knowledge of students at the Salus Infirmorum Faculty in Madrid. |
