| Summary, etc. | Este estudio fue presentado como comunicación en el I Congreso Internacional y VII Congreso Nacional de Higiene y Medicina Preventiva Hospitalaria, celebrado en Santiago de Compostela en septiembre de 1993. Su objetivo básico consiste en presentar los resultados de un estudio descriptivo sobre el grado de aceptación de un grupo de lesionados medulares y de sus familias, de un nuevo tipo de dispositivo para la incontinencia urinaria masculina. Los resultados indican que este nuevo colector de orina constituye un importante avance en el abanico de productos utilizados por este colectivo de pacientes. |

| Summary, etc. | This study was presented as a communication at the I International Congress and VII National Congress of Hospital Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, held in Santiago de Compostela in September 1993. Its basic objective is to present the results of a descriptive study on the degree of acceptance of a group of spinal cord injured and their families, of a new type of device for male urinary incontinence. The results indicate that this new urine collector constitutes an important advance in the range of products used by this group of patients. |
