520 3# - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.

Summary, etc. Introduction: neck pain is a frequent reason for consulting Physiotherapy in Primary Care after having received other treatments without success. Objective: to verify the effects of the analytical mobilizations of the Sohier concept in the clinical case of a patient with neck pain. Case presentation: young patient with sequelae in the cervical region after a traffic accident and no previous history. The presence of motor barriers (BM) is quantified, taking into account the final stop of movement, between the first and second cervical vertebrae, between the second and third and between the fourth and fifth; the existence of nodules as a consequence of spasmodic muscle contracture and myofascial trigger points (MTrP) related to chronic neck pain. During five sessions, the joint misalignments or inconsistencies were reharmonized/corrected with techniques typical of the Sohier concept, the PGMs were inactivated with deep dry needling and stretching and, in addition, the associated muscles were stabilized. Results: a decrease in pain and disappearance of the BM between the first and second cervical vertebrae and between the fourth and fifth is achieved, as well as an increase in the pain threshold to the pressure of the PGM. Conclusions: Analytical Physiotherapy (Sohier concept), integrated with other techniques, is an effective treatment for this patient.
