| Expansion of summary note | La Hemofiltración Continua (HF) es una técnica de depuración extrarrenal cada día más utilizada en los distintos servicios de un hospital (Nefrología, Hemodiálisis, Cuidados intensivos, quirófanos, unidades de reanimación, etc.). La llegada de la HF a unidades poco habituadas a la misma provoca la aparición de multitud de cuestiones referentes a ¿por qué?, ¿cómo? y ¿cuándo? de dicha técnica. El objetivo de este artículo introductorio a la HF es intentar responder aquellas preguntas que siempre nos planteamos cuando estamos ante esta técnica. |

| Summary, etc. | Continuous Hemofiltration (HF) is an extrarenal purification technique that is increasingly used in the different departments of a hospital (Nephrology, Hemodialysis, Intensive Care, operating rooms, resuscitation units, etc.). The arrival of the HF to units little accustomed to it causes the appearance of a multitude of questions regarding why? How? and when? of said technique. The objective of this introductory article to HF is to try to answer those questions that we always ask ourselves when we are faced with this technique. |
