Se elaboró un protocolo de vacunación escolar con el objetivo de incrementar la tasa de cobertura vacunal con respecto al curso anterior. Haciendo hincapié en un mayor contacto del personal sanitario con profesores, padres y alumnos, y vacunando en el Centro de Salud y en el colegio de forma complementaria, los resultados del programa mejoraron de la siguiente manera: aportación de documentos con autorización para vacunar, del 53,37% en el curso 92/93 al 76,29% en el curso 93/94; alumnos vacunados en el programa según previstos, del 52,17% al 96,87%; alumnos matriculados que quedan correctamente vacunados, del 46,92% al 75,68%.<br/>Estos datos confirman que el programa de vacunación escolar es más eficaz al realizarse desde el Centro de Salud mediante el contacto directo e individual del personal sanitario con los padres y alumnos. |

Emphasizing greater contact between health personnel with teachers, parents and students, and vaccinating at the Health Center and at school in a complementary manner, the results of the program improved as follows: provision of documents with authorization to vaccinate, from the 53.37% in the 92/93 academic year to 76.29% in the 93/94 academic year; students vaccinated in the program as planned, from 52.17% to 96.87%; enrolled students who are correctly vaccinated, from 46.92% to 75.68%.<br/>These data confirm that the school vaccination program is more effective when carried out from the Health Center through direct and individual contact between health personnel and parents and students. |
