| Summary, etc. | Se analiza mediante un estudio descriptivo en dos grupos de colostomizados la mejora en su calidad de vida tras la utilización de dos métodos continentes respectivamente: el obturador solo o bien la combinación de irrigación y obturador. En función de los resultados obtenidos, la autora confirma para ambos grupos un gran aumento de las actividades de la vida, una baja frecuencia de incidencias durante la adaptación al método continente, así como una significativa reducción de ruidos y olores y un muy elevado grado de satisfacción general. Así pues se puede concluir que estas dos posibilidades de continencia suponen para las personas colostomizadas un gran aumento en su calidad de vida. |

| Summary, etc. | The improvement in their quality of life after the use of two continent methods, respectively, was analyzed using a descriptive study in two groups of colostomized patients: the obturator alone or the combination of irrigation and obturator. Based on the results obtained, the author confirms for both groups a large increase in life activities, a low frequency of incidents during adaptation to the continent method, as well as a significant reduction in noise and odors and a very high degree of overall satisfaction. Thus, it can be concluded that these two possibilities of continence suppose for colostomized people a great increase in their quality of life. |
