Para preservar la seguridad de los pacientes sensibilizados al látex durante su ingreso hospitalario es imprescindible conocer qué es el látex, qué material sanitario lo contiene y cuál está exento de él, cómo se manifiesta la reacción alérgica y qué medidas se llevarán a cabo para evitarlas. Se describe el material utilizado y las pautas de actuación en un paciente alérgico al látex que ingresa como receptor de un injerto renal. |
