| Summary, etc. | La valoración de las constantes vitales forma parte de la actividad de cuidar, y en muchas ocasiones constituye el primer paso para conocer el estado de salud de las personas. De ahí nuestro interés por analizar qué conocimientos tenían acerca de estas constantes los enfermeros/as del siglo XVIII, cómo las valoraban y qué cuidados aplicaban para mantenerlas o equilibrarlas cuando se desestabilizaban.<br/>La fuente documental la constituye un manual escrito por un enfermero de esta época, con el fin de ayudar a sus colegas en la tarea del cuidado de enfermos. |
