Se concluye una excesiva utilización de abreviaturas en las historias clínicas (más de 30 por historia como media), y escasa conciencia por parte de los profesionales de que se esté abusando de ellas. Cambiar hábitos al respecto exige tiempo y perseverancia. |

It is concluded an excessive use of abbreviations in medical records (more than 30 per history on average), and little awareness on the part of professionals that they are being abused. Changing habits in this regard requires time and perseverance. |
