Summary, etc.
|

Summary, etc. | Introduction:
Food behavior disorders (ACT) are characterized by an alteration of eating-related behavior that negatively impacts the health and psychosocial abilities of those who have them. They are psychiatric diseases with great variability of presentation and severity, and great nutritional impact.
Main objective:
The objective of this study is to know the prevalence of existing TCA risk in a population of compulsory secondary school students.
Methodology:
Descriptive and cross-cutting study, with a sample of 34 students from a selected institute for convenience. To measure the risk of ACS, the validated EAT-26 questionnaire (cut-off point 10) was used. Sociodemographic variables and correlations were also evaluated.
Conclusions:
The prevalence of the risk of developing TCA in this institute (20.59%) is similar to other studies in Spain and abroad. In addition, it was determined that the scores obtained in EAT-26 are significantly higher in girls than in boys, however no link was found between the risk of ADHD with body mass index (BMI), locality or different ages. |
