Summary, etc. L'efficacité de la méthode McKenzie sur la lombalgie chronique est peu évaluée.<br/>Méthode. – Quatorze patients avec préférence directionnelle répartis aléatoirement en deux groupes : méthode McKenzie ou traitement classique. L'évolution de l'impact fonctionnel et de la topographie douloureuse sont évaluées à 6 séances.<br/>Résultats. – Pas de différence statistiquement significative.<br/>Conclusion. – Pas de preuve de la supériorité de la méthode McKenzie chez des lombalgiques chroniques avec préférence directionnelle.<br/>Niveau de preuve. – 2.

Summary, etc. The efficacy of the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® in chronic low back pain has been little assessed.<br/>Method. – Fourteen patients with directional preference were divided randomly into two groups: the McKenzie method or conventional treatment. Functional impact and the pain topography were assessed after 6 sessions.<br/>Results. – There were no statistically significant differences.<br/>Conclusion. – There is no proof of superiority for the McKenzie method in chronic low back pain with directional preference.<br/>Level of evidence. – 2.
