Summary, etc. • Objetivo: Describir nuestra experiencia inicial en el abordaje del cateterismo derecho e izquierdo a través de la arteria radial y la vena antecubital. • Metodología: Se realizó cateterismo derecho e izquierdo en 18 pacientes, utilizando introductores del 6 F (French) para la arteria radial y 7 F (French) para el abordaje venoso. • Resultados: La técnica fue realizada en todos los pacientes a través de la vía propuesta sin complicaciones mayores. • Conclusiones: El abordaje radial y antecubital del cateterismo derecho e izquierdo es factible y seguro, permitiendo la deambulación inmediata del paciente.

Summary, etc. • Purpose: The aim of the study was to describe our initial experience performing right and left cardiac catheterization through the radial artery and antecubital vein. • Methods: 18 patients underwent right and left cardiac catheterization using 6 French sheaths in the radial artery and 7 French in the antecubital vein. • Results: This technique was achieved in all patients without major complications. • Conclusions: Right and left cardiac catheterization is a feasible and safe technique, allowing immediate mobilization of patients.
