| Summary, etc. | La cifoplastia con balon es un procedimiento mínimamente invasivo para las fracturas vertebrales por compresión; se hace en un quirófano y consiste en la inserción de unos balones dentro de la vértebra fracturada, inflado de los mismos para crear una cavidad y reducir la fractura, retirada de los balones, y llenado de la cavidad creada con cemento óseo para fijar la fractura. De esta manera ésta se estabiliza facilitando la movilidad del paciente y proporcionando un alivio rápido del dolor.<br/>Si bien es un procedimiento técnico médico, la enfermera tiene un papel activo colaborando en todo momento con el médico, agilizando el proceso. |
