Summary, etc. Objetivo: comparar la eficacia de los diferentes tipos de analgesia utilizados en nuestro centro, para favorecer la recuperación funcional.<br/>Material y métodos: se incluyeron todas las intervenciones de prótesis total de rodilla primaria realizadas en nuestro centro de noviembre del 2010 a marzo del 2011. Se trata de un estudio observacional, descriptivo y prospectivo.<br/>Protocolos de analgesia: PCEA, PCA IV, Analgesia IV y Citrato de fentanilo 200 mcg. transmucoso, administrado 20 minutos antes del uso del Kinetec.<br/>Resultados: se valoraron 52 pacientes intervenidos. Edad media de 71, 4 años. Del total de pacientes tuvimos: 35% con PCEA, 21% con PCA IV, 44% con analgesia IV. Y 33% con Actiq 200 mcg.<br/>Conclusiones: mayor efectividad de la analgesia con la PCEA + Actiq 200 mcg. 20 minutos antes del ejercicio con el Kinetec.

Summary, etc. Objective: to compare the effectiveness of the different types of analgesia used in our center, to promote functional recovery.<br/>Material and methods: Included all interventions for total primary knee prostheses performed at our center from November 2010 to March 2011. This is an observational, descriptive and prospective study.<br/>Analgesia protocols: PCEA, PCA IV, Analgesia IV and fentanyl citrate 200 mcg. administered 20 minutes before kinetec use.<br/>Results: 52 patients were affected. Average age of 71, 4 years. Of the total patients we had: 35% with PCEA, 21% with PCA IV, 44% with analgesia IV. And 33% with Actiq 200 mcg.<br/>Conclusions: increased effectiveness of analgesia with PCEA + Actiq 200 mcg. 20 minutes before exercise with Kinetec.
