| Summary, etc. | En la artroplastia total de rodilla se sustituye la superficie articular por componentes de aleación especiales. El objetivo de la rehabilitación es recuperar la función. Un protocolo disminuye: dolor, complicaciones, rehabilitación ambulatoria, estancia hospitalaria, tasa de revisiones y costes. Ponemos en práctica un protocolo.<br/>Objetivo: Demostrar que la retirada del drenaje en las primeras 24 h postintervención y movilización temprana de los pacientes intervenidos de gonartrosis reduce la estancia hospitalaria.<br/>Material y métodos: estudio retrospectivo, longitudinal en dos Unidades de Traumatología. Población objeto de estudio: gonartrosis intervenidas de prótesis total de rodilla en seis meses. Se contabilizó: estancia media postoperatoria, momento de retirada del drenaje y movilización del paciente. |

| Summary, etc. | In total knee replacement the joint surface is replaced by special alloy components. The goal of rehabilitation is to regain function. One protocol decreases: pain, complications, outpatient rehabilitation, hospital stay, review rate and costs. We put a protocol in place.<br/>Objective: To demonstrate that removing drainage in the first 24 hours post-intervention and early mobilization of intervened patients with gotharthrosis reduces hospital stay.<br/>Material and methods: retrospective study, longitudinal in two Traumatology Units. Population under study: gonartrosis intervened with total knee prostheses in six months. It was counted: postoperative average stay, time of drainage removal and mobilization of the patient. |
