Nos interesa escuchar la experiencia de los profesionales médicos y enfermeros que trabajan cara a cara con enfermos en situación terminal. Por ello se ha realizado una serie de entrevistas en profundidad a estos profesionales con objeto de conocer las dificultades y obstáculos reales que, sobre el terreno, experimentan, así como el modo de proceder con estos enfermos. Se presentan los resultados de ocho de las entrevistas realizadas, cuatro a profesionales médicos y cuatro a profesionales de enfermería y dada la extensión del mismo hemos optado por plantearlo en dos artículos consecutivos que forman una unidad. El trabajo es de tipo cualitativo y el análisis de los datos se ha estructurado en torno a las preguntas de investigación propuestas, manteniendo la diversidad y variabilidad de planteamientos y experiencias mostradas por los entrevistados citando textualmente sus palabras. |

We are interested in hearing the experience of medical professionals and nurses who work face to face with patients in terminal situations. For this reason, a series of in-depth interviews have been carried out with these professionals in order to know the real difficulties and obstacles that, on the ground, they experience, as well as the way to proceed with these patients. The results of eight of the interviews carried out are presented, four to medical professionals and four to nursing professionals and given the extension of the same we have chosen to raise it in two consecutive articles that form a unit. The work is of a qualitative type and the analysis of the data has been structured around the proposed research questions, maintaining the diversity and variability of approaches and experiences shown by the interviewees citing their words verbatim. |
