En esta revisión bibliográfica se estudia la evidencia científica sobre la necesidad del ayuno de las mujeres en trabajo de parto. Existe suficiente evidencia para afirmar que la mujer, desee o no un parto natural,quiera o no analgesia epidural,puede y debe ser animada a mantener una buena hidratación y/o nutrición durante el trabajo de parto sin riesgos añadidos, siempre y cuando su riesgo inicial sea bajo |

This bibliographical review studies the scientific evidence about the need for fasting during labor. There is sufficient evidence to state that a woman, whether she wants or not natural delivery, wants or not epidural analgesia, can and has to be encouraged to have a good hydration and/or nutrition while she is in labor without this presenting any additional risks as long as her initial risk is low.<br/><br/> |
