Este estudio recoge desde una revisión teórica de la comunicación facial y prosódica del bebé hasta la adaptación de un sistema de evaluación de la expresión facial de las emociones para su aplicación con bebés que permite observar, registrar y estudiar de manera fiable las emociones en edades tempranas. El bebé es capaz de transmitir ciertas reacciones afectivas ante situaciones o estímulos que le afectan. Las más características son el placer, asco, ira, miedo y dolor. La valoración del llanto del neonato aporta valiosa información sobre el estado neurológico y médico del bebé.<br/> |

This study ranges from a theoretical review of babies’ facial and prosodic communication, to the adaptation of a system to evaluate the facial expression of emotions for its application to babies, making it possible to observe, record and study emotions at very early ages in a reliable way. When faced with situations or stimuli that affect them, babies are able to transmit certain emotional reactions.The most characteristic emotions are pleasure, disgust, anger, fear and pain.Assessing a newborn’s cries provides valuable information about the baby’s neurological and medical condition.<br/> |
