| Summary, etc. | La Musicoterapia se basa en la percepción e interpretación de los sonidos y de sus símbolos.<br/><br/>Es una especialidad paramédica joven, pero con suficientes fundamentos científicos de orden clinicoterapéutico que permiten establecer una metodología de trabajo. Se utiliza en instituciones de Educación Especial por sus efectos positivos sobre el organismo en general.<br/><br/>El objetivo de este trabajo es brindar al profesional integrante de un equipo de salud un conocimiento amplio del campo que abarca la Musicoterapia y al fisioterapeuta las técnicas específicas que pueden serle de utilidad como complemento de su labor. |

| Summary, etc. | Music therapy is based on the perception and interpretation of sound and their symbols. It is a recently developed paramedical speciality, but sufficient scientific and clinical-therapeutic evidence has accrued to allow a working method to be established. It is used in special-education institutions because of its generally positive corporal effects.<br/><br/>The aim of this study was to give health-care professionals some general knowledge of the field of Musical therapy and to provide physical therapists with information regarding specific techniques that may be a useful complement to their work. |
