La maternidad supone un punto de inflexión en el desarrollo emocional de cualquier mujer. Cuando ocurre en condiciones desfavorables, como suele ser en la adolescencia, puede desencadenar diversos conflictos económicos, psicológicos y sociales. En función del rango de edad en el que se desarrolle la gestación, la adolescente se va a enfrentar de diferentes modos y su desarrollo psicosocial se verá afectado de diferentes maneras. Este trabajo se centra en aquellas adolescentes en las que la gestación no forma parte de un proyecto de vida, por tanto, no es un embarazo deseado y supone un obstáculo en su desarrollo psicosocial. Las matronas deben conocer, además de los aspectos físicos que conlleva, que el embarazo adolescente es considerado de riesgo y que el apoyo y el asesoramiento a estas mujeres favorecerá la disminución de complicaciones en el desarrollo psicosocial, un correcto establecimiento del vínculo materno-filial y, por tanto, un favorable desarrollo futuro del binomio madre-hijo. El objetivo de este artículo es intentar ilustrar las emociones de las futuras madres adolescentes, cómo se ven afectadas en la <br/>autoestima y en su desarrollo escolar y laboral, así como en el viaje personal que cada una realiza hacia la madurez psicoafectiva.<br/> |

Motherhood is a turning point in the emotional development of any woman. When it occurs in unfavorable conditions, usually in adolescence, it can trigger various economic, psychological and social conflicts. Depending on the age range in which the pregnancy occurs, the teen will face her new condition in different ways and her psychosocial development will be affected in different ways. This paper focuses on adolescents who had not included pregnancy as part of their life and it <br/>represents an obstacle in their psychosocial development. Midwives should be aware, in addition to the physical aspects involved, that teenage pregnancy is considered of risk and support and advice to these women will help reduce complications of their psychosocial development, proper establishment of mother-child bond and therefore, a favorable future development of the mother-child relationship. The aim of this paper is to attempt to illustrate the emotions of teenage mothers, how their pregnancy affects their self-esteem and school and job development as well as the personal journey that each one makes to psycho-affectionate maturity. |
